By Palm Desert post office to pick up package for Beth; then on to COD where I drop Peter. Home and check e-mail. Then it's off to another blood draw at the Dolores Hope Building at Eisenhower. Deposit at bank for Beth. Home and check more e-mail and news sites. Beth calls and I drive over to pick her up and we to airport to pick up the van (her employers flew home today). We stop and get chili dogs and a soda on way. Split up on way home - she to her employers' place, I home. Have dessert with girls. Down for nap with girls. Up and feed girls. Open mail for Beth. Tom Snow at meeting today for first time in a week. He's got a port for dialysis and will do his second treatment tonight at 6:00.
In Beth's car: I drop Peter's friend at home then drop Peter at COD. Home and check e-mail and news sites quickly. Then I take the girls to their groomer for a bath (reason for Beth's car). Home and computer with popcorn sans girls. Guys from solar panel place here to check system. They leave. Work on La Quinta project and e-mail it to La Quinta guy. Talk Beth. Watch some TV: Nicholson's Ride the Whirlwind while eating lunch. Down for nap dressed in case mail man brings back a registered letter he wouldn't leave yesterday. Up with my phone going off. Groomer has girls ready. By post office and pick up the registered letter - it was from Charlie in Canada with money order for some things I have done for him. Pick up girls and bring them home. Feed girls. I open mail - George's Federal return. Beth's NRA invite.

Then we to Palm Springs hospital to see Tom. His long-time friend, Dave Franklin, was there. Tom was under heavy sedation and woke up every so often but did not acknowledge our presence. We were told he will dialyze tonight. Drive to Beth's place of employment so she can run the big dog. I pick up pizza and we eat it there. Home and pizza bones to girls. Putz around for awhile. Home after meeting and check e-mail and news sites. I pack and everything of mine ready for Victorville overnight trip. LeRoy (dog sitter) arrives and we talk for awhile. Beth finally arrives and we pack it up and take off around 11:00. Arrive a little after 1:00 PM and check into hotel. Have some lunch at hotel restaurant. To room and we both nap. Up 4:00 then dress for memorial and on over to Bruce's house. Meet a bunch of people then drive to Apple Valley. Service held in Roy Rogers and Dale Evans chapel at the mortuary. Nice service. Food served afterwords. Eat and chat with numerous people Beth hadn't seen in ages. Back to hotel by 10:00. Get ready and both of us hit the hay. Later ~
