Beth's dad's parents' house where she once lived

Beth's Pasadena house where she grew up

Up in Burbank Hotel 5:30. Hi to Beth and we talk about last night's party. Shower and dress; she does same. To dining room for small breakfast. Pack it all up and we leave around 9:45. Drive around Columbia (now Warner Bros.) Ranch to look at the outside changes and remember the old days. Then we jump on freeway and head for home. Stop in Glendale and look at Uncle George's old home. The new owners said they were going to restore the house (built in 1913) but when Beth went to the door she found it was being occupied by renters and nothing at all had been done to restore the building. Then on to Pasadena Where we drove around to both her paternal and maternal grand parents homes; plus her old home and took pictures. Back on freeway and on to the desert. Stop for a hamburger, then on to our house. Girls very happy to see us. LeRoy the girls' sitter happy, too. He leaves. We unpack. Clean the floors; then I down for nap. Up and write here. Read paper with Beth. She fixes dinner and we eat. She showers and we watch recording of CSI: Miami we recoreded last Monday. Later ~
